Do you have a project that you need some help with? By becoming a workshop host we can help get your project moving along faster while you get to be a community superstar by providing a space for people to continue their learning journeys.
Based on your site and project, there will be specific tool and equipment requirements. We’ll collaborate with your workshop facilitator to create a tailored plan outlining what you'll need to provide (borrow, purchase, or hire).
Plants & Amendments
In most cases you will need to supply the plants and amendments for your new systems. Your workshop facilitator and Syntropic Alchemy NZ will assist you in connecting with local plant suppliers, offer ideas and support for sourcing free plant material, and provide guidance on the necessary quantities and types of plants required.
Facilities
To be a workshop host you will need to make sure you have toilet and handwashing facilities, access to clean drinking water, and some sort of shelter from the elements. If you don't have any of these let us know and we'll do our best to come up with some solutions for you.
Parking & Access
To host a workshop you will need to have easy access to your site and plenty of parking options for participants. Most workshops will have at least fifteen participants so it's important to have safe parking options. Off-street parking if preferable but we can work through this with you and come up with something suitable.
How it works...
Let's Connect
& Plan
We start with a call to understand your goals, vision, and property. Together, we create a project outline and discuss your responsibilities—such as providing parking, toilets, and other essentials.
Facilitator Match & Workshop Design
We carefully match you with an experienced workshop facilitator who aligns with your project. You and the facilitator will then have a call to design the workshop, set a plan, and choose a date.
Preparing for the Workshop
The facilitator will provide a list of everything needed for the workshop, from materials and plants to logistics. We’ll organize this information and work closely with you to ensure everything is ready.
Final Checks & Workshop Day!
We’ll send detailed checklists to both you and the facilitator, ensuring a smooth and successful workshop day. Then, it’s time to gather, learn, and grow!
